If you’re going to dress up as something scary, you won’t sell anything.

Clowns are just inherently scary.

They all float down here.

Might be a killer clown from outer space.

Must be especially tough to be in the legitimate clown business nowadays, with all the creepy clown pranks over the past few years.

I’d never even heard of people fearing clowns until I was 12 and saw “Animaniacs,” where it was played for laughs. Nowadays, unless the clown is Ronald McDonald, everyone thinks of fear first.

You should be afraid… very afraid.
