He’s just trying to find a costume that’ll impress some preadolescent girls. I wouldn’t call that egomania - desperate maybe, but not egomania.

okay - okay - keep the hair, but wear a bib and diaper…then you can go as Justin Bibber. You’ll get more candy from the parents, you don’t have to worry about trying to sing, and at least one girl will be impressed with your cleverness. (I think I’ve had too much coffee this morning)
