Sadly, things like this really do happen. There was a lady a few years ago in Quebec who stopped her car in a live lane – if you can believe it – because of geese on the road. She caused a crash in which people died. She was charged and had to do jail time, though I don’t remember the details.
It was nice of Broomie to help Mr. Turtle, but Broomie should have at least pulled over onto the shoulder before getting out of that star-crossed car. Well, I guess it will be restored once more; or does our little caring driver have a secret stash of ’56 Plymouths in a vast hidden garage somewhere in the Enchanted Forest?
