On another note, did anyone else note that the Bucky at the top of the page is missing his tooth, er, fang? Maybe the colorist just painted over it? Or Satch had more than one chance at “mild violence”:)

Nice to see a new comic

All I can say is, “YAY SATCHEL!!!”

I think one of the reasons this comic has been so successful is that Conley gives all of his characters turns at “winning” in a given strip.

Using violence, no matter how mild, is not the Zen way. For shame on you Satchel, for doggone shame

Can you say “This is waaaaay overdue”, boys and girls? Yes I knew you could.

I love it when Satch has enough of Bucky’s attitude and gives him a little lesson. Even though Bucky never learns. And Satch never gets really violent.

I always enjoy seeing Satchel one-up Bucky. The “Mild violence” panel made me laugh, too.

Bucky, don’t you know that when you puff out your chest it just means you’re full of hot air. Someone’s just gotta deflate you!
