I remember when they delivered milk. Many houses had a milk box where the milkman put the milk. It had a door on the outside and a door on the inside.
Some places, you could trust the milkman to just come in and put the milk in your refrigerator. Until he started leaving other deposits while the husband was at work.
I remember when the milkman delivered our milk on a horse-drawn cart, and we got a big block of ice for our icebox from the ice man…top that!
