To such beings as Cthulhu, they know who you are but don’t care. I see Cthulhu as from Chula-Varuna who came from the stars to the Earth, whose eyes are everywhere. When “he” was over thrown by the other gods he was imprisoned in R’lyeh which like “rely” means “chained” or “restrained without” but one day the stars will be right and he will be free again to roam the Earth again against the small gods of Earth or take flight again to the stars…
