Fox ‘news’ has many, many programs that address that very issue.

It all started with Newt. FOX just fed the flame to make a lotta money.

There’s has been a 30-year-long campaign to discredit the very concept of knowledge.

The people who complain about “moral relativism” believe in FACTUAL relativism.

Smart has been replaced with political correctness and an attitude that no one is responsible for their own actions, everything bad that happens to them has to be someone or something else’s fault.

The smart people move to the coast.

My parents must have had a premonition. They moved the whole family (11) to London Ontario in 1967. Thanks folks.

What happened to all the smart? Well, let’s see…first, parents began letting the “experts” in books raise their children; then they started letting team sports raise their children; then they started shipping their kids off to college willy-nilly, not to become educated but to get high-paying jobs; then the colleges became, instead of institutions of higher learning dedicated to illuminating truth, institutions of higher finance dedicated to ever-healthier bottom lines (i.e., better salaries, pensions, etc.), er, I mean better equipment and getting the best and brightest on faculty. (No, I was right the first time.) At the end of which process we have WAY too many people who 1. have learned everything they know from a phone; 2. believe that a degree is a contract for a red-carpet lifestyle; and 3. can’t think their way out of the bathroom much less into a moral imperative. Yep, I think that covers it.

Maybe Scott’s gone the “L” word – a LIBERAL! (A four letter word among many – started, I think, by Rush Limbaugh) (The concept that, if you’re a liberal, you’re automatically wrong, anti-patriotic, fill-in-the-blank) // Maybe the Hillary bunnies are simply an occasional “bone” Scott tosses, thinking to keep Republicans happy. // Same way that Trump thought firing Comey might make Democrats happy…

So many exaggerations in this strip today. Most people have a level head and an anger against the Reich Wingers who want to bring back their glorious 1930’s.

Sorry to disappoint but if all the smarts moved to Canada I can tell you that living here I haven’t seen much improvement.

I’m a believer that languages should be allowed to evolve, but I cannot reconcile myself to “snuck” instead of “sneaked”.
