On US Highway 34 as you travel out of the Chicago metro area, there are two towns next to each other – Plano and Sandwich. Every once and a while some goof installs a sign that says “Bologna” between the two towns so you read: Plano Bologna Sandwich.
For those who are not queued into American dialects, “Plano” is a pun on “plain old” which sounds like “plane-o” when spoken quickly.
