I love how the second panel is blank for a reaction to the first panel.

It’s even better doing that in the winter, Linus. Hot chocolate and the TV after coming in from the snow and the cold (oh, and did I mention the fire going in the fireplace?)!

…For about five seconds before his parents come in and snap at him to start doing something productive before the TV goes through the wall… (Or am I projecting?)

I like hot or cold chocolate milk made with the Hershey’s “Natural” syrup as I watch TV

Cup of tea, feet up, good book….sweeet.

It’s the one thing I miss now that I live in Florida! But those few weeks of autumn bliss are no reason to move back north! LOL

Beats the heck out of a fire that could start a chimney fire and then burn down the house. Yes, indeed. I much prefer a gas furnace.

My fave time of year too. A book, cup of hot tea, warm blanket, and a fire playing on the computer, what more could any woman ask for.

I miss walking my daughters to and from school. We’d find big clusters of leaves on the ground and shuffle-walk through them, or kick them in the air. Now, one is in high school, the other in middle school, and they leave too early.

Now I’m remembering some isolated panel (maybe it was the whole gag, but it feels like it was a sub-gag at the start of a Sunday page) of cavemen sitting around the fire, and one of them says, “I wonder what people used to do in the evening before they invented fire?”

Linus knows how to enjoy the seasons, I love it!

I really dislike being an adult. I wanna go home.

and watching School House Rock.

TV has always left me cold (well, with certain exceptions like “Nature” or “Nova” or “Game of Thrones”……), but a nice warm book is JUST the thing!

Amen to that, Linus, all of it; AMEN!

omg…for a second I thought Linus was looking at his phone in 3rd panel.

I haven’t had hot chocolate for ages.

I do like it but it makes my mouth dry at the end.

Oh Linus, he is the best! I surely do miss Charles Schulz. So glad we still have all these toons!

A cold fall day or freezing winter day, it’s great to come home to whatever your favourite hot drink is (for me coffee with hot chocolate – mocha) and your leisure activity of choice, TV show, DVD, book, music, whatever. And for me that includes a lovely kitten on my lap. Moments like these are sublime!

I hate chocolate – always have. Some hot tea or coffee will do fine.
