    JP Steve… Exactly what I was about to say!

    Except that wouldn’t be as funny to people who don’t know who Robert Newton was….

    …even though his pirate accent, borrowed from recent ancestors, became famous in his many roles in the genre, and then the standard for every bad imitation of a pirate in films.

     

    So today should actually be called Talk Like a Cheesy and Comedic Imitation of a Stereotypical Movie Pirate Day….

    But that’s a bit too long.
