The office trap door and ejection seat are classics. Mr. Spacely had a trap door in his office on “The Jetsons”, which he used on both Cogswell, his chief competitor, and George Jetson. In the cartoon “Cool McCool”, chief spy Number One had an ejection seat that he used on the title character in every episode.
You guys are just being lazy. Add a slide to the trap door and it goes where ever you want. Also, think in three dimensions. An ejector seat does not need to go straight up. Rita’s office does have a window.
