In my copy of the “Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book”, I have the very last C&H (weekday) strip from my local newspaper. Seems pretty vintage to me.
Before I started reading ’em online, and when my dad got the daily paper, he would put the comics section aside for me. When I moved off to college, he would keep a paper bag full of all the comics sections that I would pick up when I came to visit. I would later read them in chronological order, but offset by months or even years sometimes.

As a kid, I would cut out and paste Peanuts comics on lined paper and make my own books. That was 50 years go.

If something’s “vintage” you can charge more for it than if it’s just “old.”
