Looks like Sedine would be good with kids after all! She even looks exactly like how I imagined Sam’s daughter would, well if he had her with Ellie, but that’s a different story… XD
You know I just noticed this week we’ve been seeing a lot of how Bea draws kids. With Gabby, Michaela, and a younger Sedine I think this girl is the first that doesn’t have freckles, well except the girl that was dressed as “Phantom of Paradise”.
I remember a David Sedaris story about working as a Macy’s Elf. Whenever something like this happened, they’d have to yell “VAMOOSE” – that being the name of the cleaning product they used.

I had to do that with someone’s three-year-old once.

That was an easy wish though.

She’s so excited to see Santa, she wet herself. It’s nice to see Santa still has that effect on some children.

Why didn’t her Mommy take her potty before she went to see Santa?

Maybe they should hire Wakko Warner to be an elf.

If you have to ask…

Time to dig in, dig it? ;)
Panel #3:
A whole lot going on, including, but not necessarily limited to …
- Seven distinct figures on the lower level, one of whom is riding a reindeer: Looks like a “Security Elf” might be requesting that they dismount.
- Perhaps as many as twelve additional shoppers milling about on the upper level.
- Three “Star” decorations suspended from the ceiling.
- Three giant candy canes, in various locations.
- Three wrapped packages on the lower level. Unopened.
- Two reindeer.
- One Christmas Tree.
- One “Santa” sign, clearly marked.
- Santa.
- Sedine.
- The little girl on Santa’s lap.
- That yet-to-be-used “Escape Slide.”
… and I still can’t quite make out what’s written on that sign in cursive lettering. Curses!
Panel #4:
- Three bemused, distinctly-rendered onlookers.
- An additional four (… or more!) “Shadow-People.” (\/)
- One Mildly-Flummoxed Little Girl, in need of the “Little Girl’s Room.”
- One Onrushing Elf, who at this point has decompressed to about three heads in height.
