My dad told us not to make snow icecream because “it’s full of atomic fallout.” He was just being stupid in his usual way—trying to spoil our fun using words he knew we didn’t understand—but if he’d said heavy metals, he might have been closer to the mark.
I remember a winter when we were discouraged from playing in the snow because of the nuclear bomb tests. I think it was Strontium 90. It was in some cow’s milk, too. I’m surprised I just remembered that.
Hey, does anyone remember the non-melting plastic-like stuff that covered Atlanta GA. It stalled traffic and caused quite a stir. People shot videos of themselves trying to melt it and it would not. It burned like foam cups. What in the world was that??!!
Remember acid rain? With all the coal plants making pollution it was bad. The air in America is so much better now than it was. unless trump makes America great again by bringing back the polluted air.

What’s really sad is this comic is copyrighted the year I was born. Things haven’t improved.

Not polluted, but definitely crunchy. However, I’m sure if the USA was still in the Paris climate agreement, it would be just peachy. Yeah right! $$$

Wait, didn’t (fake) President Trump assure us that “Climate Change” was “fake”. Humm, now I’m beginning to wonder.

It’s too early to have the good flakes. They need to season more.
