“Medley” suggests it is whatever was leftover from cannery row.

If he doesn’t eat it all would that make it leftover leftovers?

I’ve seen dog food with “chicken by-products” in it.

A fish name “Medley”?

If it stinks, cats will eat it.

Or maybe it is melody, suggesting tune-a fish!

Yet people buy frozen “vegetable medley” all the time.

Over fishing. Which is why Tilapia, which the factories used to just dump over the side(garbage fish) is now the one most found in your local store. Orange Roughy? Gone.Atlantic Cod? Gone. The fish factory nets drag up everything, then turn most of it into sashimi. IOW ground up fish. When we kill off the reefs, the fish die. Pretty soon all we will have are the fish farms. Which give us bad tasting fish.
