Catching up with the strip, I saw some comments about BetaJane…
She’s not new. She was Jane’s simuloid replacement on Earth while Jane was sent off into space to fight aliens,
That was in the “Last Starfighter” arc…. a take-off on the 80’s movie.
She’s a cooler, more efficient, more hip, but non-human Jane…
She still keeps watch.
And when Paige comments here, she uses the name “BetaJane” …. cos everyone wants to be BetaJane.
Not to be picky, but (referring back to yesterday) wouldn’t Alt-Jane call real Jane Alt-Jane rather than herself?
An odd exchange from a pair ill equipped for a dick measuring contest.Jane-Prime always seems more interested in cooperation than her alternate does. Is the aggressiveness the result of an extended period of no donuts?
It is, indeed. I have some in the kitchen, and it is time to mellow my mood.
This is going to get really messy when Gamma-Jane and Jane (Aleph-null) show up.
They’re going to have to defeat Nega Jane.
Good Lord! Where is the scorecard so we can keep these Janes straight?
Alt-Jane seems to be Calamity Jane
And original Jane is Plain Jane.
