Call it “Revenge of the Football Widow.”

Of course it’s serious. The fate of the world hangs on the outcome of pro sports games.

OMG! OMG! There’s a timeout?? 30sec? minute? or 5 minute commercial break? OH the HUMANITY!

I’m with her.

She’s forgetting that there are many times more sappy Lifetime and Hallmark Channel movies than football games and paybacks are heck.

“A hex on the ball!” That still has me chuckling. This is the funniest strip I have seen in months.

I get “This is the biggest game of the year!” every week.

Arlo sounds like my husband when he watches the cowboys play. Personally I don’t care for any pro sports they are all big babies and act like brats when they don’t get their way.

Looks like she not only put a hex on the ball, but gave it the evil eye too.

Since this is a Saturday strip, Arlo is watching college football; not pro. In the Deep South especially, every conference game is SERIOUS. More so if your team(s) is in the “top 10.”

It’s cute how some people think it’s about pro football.

Janis: “I’m going shopping.”

Arlo: “A hex on the mall!!”

Why can’t she go do something she enjoys instead of bothering him? I dislike people like that. Let him enjoy what he is doing and live your own life.

I’d hate for anyone to see ME then, sitting alone, watching my team win or lose! I’m with Arlo on this one!

Obviously Janis has $ on the opposing team, or she has a bet with Arlo. One where someone comes out on top….

What do they do all those Sundays with no football? If Arlo is retired (I’ve never heard of a reference to work) they have 5 other days to do something together.
