Spectacular Sparrows and Giant Chickadees! And orange stuff. And some green stuff. Pucky’s going to be busy taste testing all of these but he might not like the green stuff.
Man knows, Pucky, that there’s onions hiding in a lot of that food! He knows his good little boys can’t have them. He and Woman will make sure you and your Bros partake of the yummies OK for little kitties!
Orange stuff is probably sweet potatoes, or possibly pumpkin. I wouldn’t put it past the kitties to like either of those. Another less likely possibility (based on the color, which suggests high beta-carotene content) is cantaloupe, which I’m sure they’d go for.
Little Cat has been braving the snow and cold to sit under the bird feeder these last few weeks. Maybe she’s actually an American cat and is trying to catch dinner for all of us.
I am reminded of a cat of mine who jumped on a hot stove. Wouldn’t even come into the kitchen after that. Come to think of it, all of my cats have done some weird stuff.
When I cooked a turkey for our Thanksgiving (last month) the boys were very unsure of the big bird but beyond initial investigation they showed no interest in it – plus side of them not liking people food :) I did discover through many wasted tins of wet cat food (trying to find their preferences after adoption) that they will not eat turkey flavoured anything, they want Whiskas pate preferably fish flavoured but will deign to eat beef or chicken occasionally
I leave the pad on the dining room table to protect it when it’s not in use (all but about three days a year). The old cat likes to sleep on top of it like a centerpiece.

“This is Puck reporting for BCN, where the man is displaying a heartbreaking lack of transparency for reporters and treats for good boys.”

Yes, cat. You were born to gobble food. (Me too.)

I love that the Man is, unbeknownst to him, dressed just like Pucky!

ALL food items must be officially taste tested by professionals.

Actually, my dogs do all the testing on most of the food. My cat just wants the giant chickadee

This is just adorable, Georgia. I especially like the way the Man is holding Puck, and the look on his face. A lot of love, there.

I wonder if the cats wash their paws after using the litter box before jumping up on the table and counter where the food is?
