Got to love Tommy – not for being overly friendly, but the fact that he knows when it is needed to be serious.

My kitten does the “purr rub-rub” too. She’ll walk by my leg real casual like, and simultaneously arch her back against my leg in a rub. She’ll then keep walking, and not even slow down. It’s a “hi-bye” sorta rub. Busy kittens have places to go and people to see!

When I was growing up, we had a name for our cats’ ‘rubbing’. We called it a “snuzz”. To this day, my kitten loves to “snuzz” me.

Poor sad Elvis!

My favourite line of all: “I’m a hugger not a fighter!” Wish I had that on a t-shirt. :)

Tommy’s expression in Panel 3 totally melts me. He’s so full of love and concern—definitely traits of a Maine Coon.

Yes! This last year has been tough for me because cancer, but my precious Tweedle has been there every step of the way. He’s played when I could, cuddled when I needed, and just sat sweetly with me when that was the best thing he could do.Right now he and his sister (Maine Coon mix) are romping. I love that sound.

When Tommy gets serious you know things are bad.

It’s time to get practical.

Now I feel bad for Tommy since he’s out in the cold all the time. :(

Georgia has written that “Tommy is the heart of BCN” and this is beginning to show just why.

I love Tommy’s concerned expression in Panel 3 and Elvis’ anxious eyes in Panel 4 are too much!

Tommy isn’t all fluff and cuddles. He knows when it’s time to abandon the hug tactics and get down to some serious bid’ness.

What I’d like to know, Georgia: How did Tommy know Elvis’s name?

Really, under the wood pile is not that bad a place to be. The layer of snow on top would act as insulation keeping him warmer than outside. At least as warm as an old garden shed.
