Oh man does this bring back memories. We had a scale just like that in my little home town. For a nickel it would tell your weight and your fortune. Of course, being poor, we never had nickels but as fate would have it there was an old shop nearby with plenty of slugs lol
I wonder… can you even find slugs anymore these days?!? (Other than, of course, the squishy, garden variety.) Can you find the metal ones? When I was a kid, they were everywhere it seemed.
