She’s staring at a poster of her idol, knows he’s in town, and doesn’t recognize his voice when he’s right behind her?

Am I evil for enjoying Nancy choosing fantasy over reality? She could’ve had it if she had her head in reality.

Meeting your idols or heroes can be iffy at best. I managed to annoy my favorite author with the first question I asked him. Not a pleasant moment. On the other hand, cordial and pleasant, even warm encounters with Joanne Woodward , Stephen KIng, and Richard Dreyfuss. And if you happen to stop at a red light and see Jane Fonda driving the car next to you… and if you go slack jawed… and she notices you… she waves and flashes the brightest most wonderful smile. Then the light changes.

Alternative Script: 1- That girl seems to have fallen under the spell of my picture. Just as I’d planned. Bwaaa haa haaa.

2- You must do as I say . You are under my control.

3- Buzz off creep! I’m just trying to figure out why my Sluggo has changed so after staring at this picture for hours.

    4- Buster: I think I know.

Sometimes the myth is more fun than the reality anyway.

George Takei was very nice when I met in 1975. I was almost tongue tied meeting James Doohan. It was easier meeting Walter Keonig. Missed meeting & Wm Shatner.
