Merry Christmas greeting has fallen by the wayside because politically correct a-holes think it offends certain groups! MERRY CHRISTMAS! I’ll NEVER stop saying it, so they can pound salt!

Cracker Barrel started setting out Christmas items for sale in the stores almost a month ago. No surprise here.

Now I’ll have the end of that Duck & Cover educational film in my head all day.

Sure wish they could line up the dates of these strips to go with the time of year. On Christmas Nancy will be talking about Spring.

THE ISSUES I HAVE WITH THIS CARTOON:

– They cut down a tree just so we could see the billboard.

– The billboard’s greeting is not attributed to a retail or online store as a real billboard of this nature would’ve been.

– None of those "You"s were directed to me. So rude. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE – INCLUDING YOU!

Very cute…. and just a touch of surreal to me too as far as the age of the comic goes…. I never, ever remember seeing a pleathora of fonts all at once… before the home computer revolution. Ernie was ahead of his time!

After years of the New Nancy under Gilchrist’s jingoistic, evangelical hand, it’s nice to see how Bushmiller noted Christmas with just a simple message… even if it is 3 months ahead.
