He certainly seems to be giving chase- I wonder if Bribery is all the frail old man we take him to be?

The highly recognizable head of a major crime syndicate goes jogging all alone in the street?

This is getting a wee bit silly.

Does he do this every day? Is there a pattern to his health consciousness? Otherwise how would the oncoming assailant know where to look? I got the idea the Bribery’s health concerns were an end of year, oh, I’ve gained a few pounds and need to jog it off before New Years kind of thing. No time for anyone to create a plan like we’re about to see unfold.

She was zapped real good by Mysta after that. Doesn’t that count as “action”?

The reference to Mumbles makes me think. We last saw him in a kerfuffle with Punjab. I remember what happened to “The Butcher of the Balkans,” so I suppose this means that Mumbles might now “fly with the Magi.” That was never confirmed, though, and it seems like too quick a way to dispose of a major villain. Could he return? It might matter because he was a bad guy who was clearly starting to suspect that T-Bolt was not what she seemed.

I wonder if Bribery is singing “Live and Let Die” LOL

Maybe Bribery does some of his best scheming while out for a jog as he lets his mind wander. He seems awfully jolly (and it’s not the Santa hat) in today’s strip. He’s probably thinking of the Crystal/Honeymoon connection and how to exploit it to achieve his plans.

…….tomorrow’s Sunday……of course something big is about to happen there….

Bribery actually seems to be a pretty likeable guy, except for the shrunken heads….

Before I got ill, when I would go walking it was wonderful for the brain, like it is getting aired out and revved up. Not anymore sadly. Though walking is still a good habit I carry on.

That guy running hard behind the jogging Christmas-y Bribery looks rather like Chekhov’s Gun to me. T_Bolt may get to see some action very soon, as Bribery may need his bodyguard’s help in warding off what might be going down. My problem is, who do we know that might actually try to take out Mr. Big? Or, who might want to “detain him for questioning” without an actual hit?

As with Gweedo and Jonahhex1 above, my first thought is Moon Governor (and can we maybe have a contest to Give the Guy a Name?)….

Just read on that social networking site that our dear friend Vista Bill has passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly. RIP!

Bribery better get out of the way or he’ll get trampled by the unknown-jogging-guy behind him who seems to be in a hurry.
