I agree with Opal. Earl’s idea of a gift bag by using a garbage bag is lame.

Oh Earl! Even you can do better. I agree about the gift bags but at least make it a legitimate gift bag!

When faced with wrapping gifts or finding a creative solution Earl actually delved deep into his latent creativity — obviously from childhood days!

Every time I mention something like this to my sister, her comment is “And HOW long have you been married? This should come as no surprise.” Although, in my husbands’ favor, he would never stoop this low.

Must be one HEFTY gift!

I knew a man once who gave his wife towels still in the store bag. They’re not together anymore

We have so many rolls of paper downstairs I have started using it for masking things to spray paint. I guess turn about is fair play.

One year I gave “punk” presents…. wrapped in newspaper and fastened with sticking plasters!

I prefer gift bags as well. I can’t wrap presents. It’s too tricky for me.

This is a disturbing comic on many levels. Earl can’t see after many years together that Opal needs him to wrap a gift to show he cares? But then men are ignorant of other peoples feelings. So this is right on the mark!
