I guess “world peace” is from a bygone era. If anybody has seen “Pleasantville” (1998) this reminds me of the bleak outlooks provided by David’s teachers. I owe my success at pulling out of the mire of my childhood to public libraries, the source of my useful education. People who try usually succeed. People who do not try probably never succeed.
