And when Walt leaves Jacob will laugh with glee and look back out over Endtown and say something to the effect, “Once the dust settles we’ll have far fewer predators and Endtown will thrive once more.” I believe he realizes that he may have a problem with Walt, hence the “Go have a drink”, comment. When Walt was drunk he was contained.
I always worry a little when a character’s eyes get that small and blank. Walt is not in a good place and I feel a little sorry for the next wolf he encounters. I hope it is not a good wolf in the wrong place at the wrong time.
My memory may be faulty but with the exception of Unity’s reptiles and the wolves of Endtown, have we seen any other large gatherings of a single genotype?
Aim Walt for the heart of the pack, give him a light push, and just stand back. He may be wishing that he’d been a little harder on the guys he HAD roughed up.
Which people will you hold accountable Jacob?? You got to find the source but you and your selected cronies sit above looking down as they go at each other. I wonder how the rich ones feel about all this….I wonder how VanDerWeasel’s group will handle the news? On a side note……the meat is already tenderized.
Walt was already feeling guilty over stopping Heather from jumping the first time, only to have the cops come in and throw her in jail and all the trial mess. Walt has tried to save her again by bringing her upstairs…only to have her succeed in jumping from an even higher point. Walt must be feeling as if it’s somehow his fault…although it really isn’t.
Wasn’t Jake Jackrabbit the one who wanted the Endtowners to be their outer animal? So if he wants to know who’s responsible, shouldn’t he look in a mirror?
i think we are being led to believe that the wolves are the culprits, but that is too easy. Aaron likes misdirection. There is more to it than this. They are behaving extremely bad here, but I think something deeper is going on than what what we have seen recently.
Don’t forget the “man” in the alley who was feeding misinformation to the newspaper. ‘He’ may be behind the ones manipulating the wolves and the other residents of Endtown.
Walt can’t do much. He can’t stop a mob, no matter how big and strong he is. He doesn’t know what we know…that there’s someone probably using the wolves as pawns in some other game(not just going for "wolf supremecy). He may have read the food storage stories…but he doesn’t know those are fake, and may be related the wolf riots.
Aaron, Like the lettering you did on the THAK – gets across the force of the blow by almost vibrating itself. You are one of two I support on Patreon and it is because of quality craft like this and thought-provoking storylines that I do. Hope you continue for years to come.

Sorry Jacob, but I get the feeling that Walt won’t be drinking much for a bit. Hoo boy indeed… ;-)

Last thing Walt needs.

Ohhh, that may not be the best advice to give Walt…what he’s thinking right now may be best left bottled up.

Jacob demonstrates that it is often the people with the least connection to real life who rise to power.

“People are going to be held responsible…” Looking at Walt’s expression I’d say that’s a safe bet.

I have a feeling a Frankenstein Monster has been created which will turn on its makers.

Jacob had best be careful lest Walt decides to give him a flying lesson.

Looks like everything is going according to whatever plan Philo’s sources have…

Walt looks like someone who thinks he knows what he must do next, Wolves in a Bear powered blender!

Seems to me all the wolves involved here. And carrying her body like that needs to be stopped NOW. But will they? Can they? What happens next?

The look on Walt’s face does not bode well…

I dont think I’d even want to be a canid in Endtown once Walt reaches the ground floor, let alone a lupine…

“Go have a drink…”
You’re kidding, right?
Night-Gaunt49[Bozo is Boffo] about 7 years ago
This sure will poison all the other canids too with this no matter how much they say they didn’t want this to happen. So very human.
