Just FYI long incisions are not the problem. It’s ragged incisions, akin to dog bites, those are the ones that require very, very fine stitching…and must have The Suture Man or Woman to mend them…
(Real life experience: one kid got such bites 35+ years ago, and you can’t see any damage today, unless he tells you the story of what happened then…)
