I wouldn’t last long in that business that way. I cannot saw a straight line even with a guide. Such a tool would slice right through the guide and the support… and probably my leg too.
Reminds me of the joke about the Jedi redneck using his light saber to cut weeds in the lawn.
I’ve heard of using a laser level, but not a laser saw.
