"there, now you have a choice, pal. I can either site you for a broken taillight, a busted mirror...or you can buy a pair of tickets to tonight's police association charity ball."
transitive verb. 1 : to call upon officially or authoritatively to appear (as before a court) 2 : to quote by way of example, authority, or proof cites several noteworthy authors. 3a : to refer to especially : to mention formally in commendation or praise She was cited for bravery.
The taillight and mirror both look like they are freshly broken. “Thanks officer. Since I have my own security cameras on my car, maybe you can see your way to pay for repair of my taillight and mirror and also give me free tickets to the Charity Ball for my whole family. I’ll bring along the recordings so that you can ensure that we have a good time.”
With all of the hatred against police in the past 2 years, propagated by a certain political party which supported the ‘Defund the Police’ riots, this is NOT funny.
