“Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” is a good choice, since it shows we have a sense of humor. A selection of Muzak would cause the ETs to totally isolate us from the rest of the galaxy for eternity. “Seasons in the Sun” would result in our total annihilation.

We are at the outer rim of our galaxy. Which should keep us isolated. And any advanced race is least likely to go to war. There are too many planets without intelligent life to get what you need without damaging other societies.
