As strange as it may sound, there’s a screwy logic in that
But sports is really an arms race. Fans don’t want to just see their team – they want to see their team WIN. That pressure brings teams to seek every legitimate (and sometimes not so legitimate) edge they can. Duh.
Well, duh.
If you want fewer illegals, prosecute those who hire them.
