Puck’s incisors are certainly coming out a lot in the past few days. Sneak attack ham, ma’am sandwiches and now a whole bag of premium Georgie Dunn Brand (the brand cats prefer) kibble.
Yay!! Indiana Lupin! And yes, that is most likely a resolution Pucky could keep but not sure the Woman will let him. ha! I love the last panel. I want “I dared to live” on a t-shirt with Puck’s paws raised in glory!
Methinks the Man will be requested to bring home a kibble container with secure lid and another bag of kibble. Does Ms Dunn also manufacture Kibble containers? Happy purrsday and keep warm all! 8)
It’s a white Purrsday this morning here in the not-so-deep South of USA. Furry cats are watching thru the window and asking to go out. Not! Dog is about to go outside for morning reasons and so she can track frozen snow back into my relatively clean house. At least Husband is staying put, since school is closed. Ahh, “Honeydos,” says the wife with a gleam in her eye.
Good morning and Happy Purrsday to all BCN fans. Puck, you are going to have the most awful tummy ache in a little while. Sending gentle, warm (it’s cold outside) orb bumps to everyone.
This is the reason the kibble goes in food safe 5-gallon buckets with gamma lids in my house. The cats haven’t quite got the strength to open the lid but I can open it easily and the food stays fresh. I have to keep the dog food and 2 large gamma containers for the same reason. One of the cats Meav loves the Whitefish and Duck dog food and twice a day when I fill his dish she waits close by hoping I’ll spill some. If I do she runs underneath the dog bats the piece or pieces away and eats them across the room. I try not to spill any but at least once a week I get “clumsy” and drop a piece or two.
After it stops snowing I’ll take Miscreant out for his step shake walk on the leash. He has been staring out the window since last night at the snow. I’ll have to take him under the carport though. Everywhere else is over his head.
When I buy cat food, I have to immediately open the bag and pour it into a sealed plastic bin. Otherwise, my cats will chew their way into the bag, just like Pucky!
Dixie came home today! She was waiting by her food dish when I came back from taking my sister to work this morning. She wasn’t alone, either – she brought a beautiful long-haired calico with her. My sweet girl even showed her friend where the kitties eat. I don’t know if this means that Dixie has another home and she brought her cat to visit, or if, in true Tommy style, she found a lost, hungry cat and brought her home to be fed.
Either way, Dixie is safe, and Dolly is welcome to stay as long as she wants. (No, I don’t know why I ended up calling her Dolly. That’s just the name that kept popping into my head when I looked at her, so I assume it’s hers.)
Another day when the story matches one of my kitty pics. Somebody left the bag of kibble on the kitchen table and Annabelle helped herself!
I just wish pictures would stay with the post where they were made, but as soon as you change the avitar, the new one gets tied to all posts old and new. I know one day I’ll change it again. So if you’re not reading this on 01/04/18 don’t be surprised if there’s no bag of kibble by the time you see it;)

So Georgia has her own brand of kibble too :) Dear Puck, little kitty tummies can not handle a whole bag of kibble a day but kudos for trying.

My New Year’s resolution is to be more like Pucky so that people will one day say of me “She dared to live!”

Puck:Each evening, from December to December,
Before you drift to sleep upon your cot,
Think back on all the tales that you remember
Of Eat-A-Lot.
Ask ev’ry person if he’s heard the story,
And tell it strong and clear if he has not,
That once there was a fleeting wisp of glory
Called Eat-A-Lot .
Eat-A-Lot! Eat-A-Lot!
Now say it out with pride and joy!
Lupin:
Eat-A-Lot! Eat-A-Lot!
Puck:
Yes, Eat-A-Lot, my boy!
(bridge)
Where once it never rained till after sundown,
By eight a.m. the morning fog had flown…
Don’t let it be forgot
That once there was a spot
For one brief shining moment that was known
As Eat-A-Lot.
(Apologies to, well, everybody, but especially Lerner and Loewe)
