When this saga started, they had a trash can, even one with a lid. They just had too much trash to go in the can and close it. maybe they need a second one, or put the trash out more often??

I solved that problem years ago. When dogs started knocking over my cans, I started leaving the bones and edible scraps on the ground. The dogs didn’t care about the other trash.
Of course his mother would be annoyed by that suggestion. The Pattersons do not appear to have a lot of money to throw around, as there have been strips where it shows the parents are struggling to keep the lights on and get the cash for next week’s food shopping. He will understand when it is incumbent on him to pay his own bills and care for his own kids.

Oh, Michael. You don’t understand the order of things. You can’t make a suggestion that makes sense. It’s not right. It’s not natural.

let’s see if Homer Jay Simpson try to swipe the Fongs’ wooden trash can (and bring it back across the boarder)

Good thing they don’t live in bear country, like here in Central Florida. No way a wooden box would work….

The Dad should be taking care of this.

A set rat trap on the can might solve some of the problem, but I don’t like to injure the critters.
