This would be the time where I start telling the kids that they gotta help do THEIR part to make sure these things happen too, and, you know, not just ASSUME the parent will handle it entirely on their own without being told or reminded.
These days I’m a grampa, not a dad, but this is totally unrealistic. When I WAS a parent, this would have been realistic, but today parents are expected to read this stuff the teacher’s website, and there is no way that schools would pay for that much ink and paper. Not in the budget!

When I was a kid we were given handouts and the teacher told us to give them to our parents.
