Been there, did not do that!

I think Beaver Cleaver did that once on Leave it to Beaver.

I’d do that, only I can’t find white magic markers.

A band aid will eliminate that cold spot when you walk onto the kitchen floor.

Hubby used to wear plain black or brown socks; got a hole in one and tossed it. Then he discovered fancy socks, which means if you get a hole, you have to throw away both socks. I use embroidery floss and darn them. He thinks it’s a marvelous idea. “I didn’t know you could do that!”

Odd place for a hole in your sock, Earl, what were you doing?

Reminds me of when I was in Girl Guides and had to darn a sock for a badge. I was making a mess of things so my mother “helped” me out and did the whole darn. Guess what – she didn’t pass! Dad and I never let her forget it.

When you put your foot in your shoe, Earl, no one will ever see the hole. When you go barefoot, though, everyone will see a black mark.

That’s being frugal to a fault.
