It started a conversation. Would this be multitasking?

How about Candy Apple Road? That should entice any unicorn.

Today’s gourmet carrots are tomorrow’s artisanal carrots.

Maybe it’s a good thing that there are (apparently) no “Mister Ed” re-runs on the television stations that Phoebe watches, or Marigold might develop a hankering for his (grand-dam’s recipe, if memory serves) carrot juice, which Wilbur’s neighbors loved until they learned that its special, unidentifiable flavor was due to it being strained through hay. Phoebe’s parents probably wouldn’t be keen on her preparing that in their kitchen, for Marigold…

Most non-human adult animals (from non-farming cultures) can’t digest milk anyway.

I thought “Hay Ripple” was one of the early Ben & Jerry’s flavors?

I prefer my carrots in cake, not ice cream.

Sort of like when Twilight became human and asked for a latté with extra oats.

Maybe Mrs. Cake could have sprinkled some Quaker Oats flakes on the whipped cream.

Orange carrots have fewer nutrients than the originals. The orange variety was developed by Dutch farmers to celebrate William of Orange. Carrots were originally red, yellow and purple. Purples have the most antioxidants. Marigold should have gone for the purples, they would have made her look more glamourous.

How come we’ve never seen carrot farms in Equestria?

It’s unusual to find a kid who likes vegetables, especially carrots. :)
