No appreciation for the hard work and creativity?

When I was a kid, I remember writing messages in the snow like Calvin does in hopes an airplane would see it.

I tried to make snowmen when I was even a bit bigger than Calvin is there… could only make snowmen about my size. That snow is HEAVY!

Reminds me of a cartoon I once saw with Snap, Crackle and Pop. There was a police barricade, and everyone was gathered around Pop, who had apparently been crushed under a safe. It was deemed the work of a cereal killer.
