Basically, Brian’s advice is extremely timely because, more and more, base reality ‘sucks’! So let us join our fearless leaders in their total “Imagination”! (also known, in some quarters, as ‘delusionment’!)
I was so confident and positive of where space travel would lead at that time in the 1960’s onward. But then reality and politics intruded and one after another leap was curtailed or allowed to die. Had a space station in the 1970’s—-was allowed to crash. No replacements. We even ended our space shuttle project, clunky though the final design was it worked. now we piggy back off other countries. Only the Blue space program of the military is still in operation. Shouldn’t we have a fully operating space stations before going back to Luna then on to Mars first? What we should have built up to now already?

Rocketry is a blast, especially when you upgrade the engine. I never found my rocket after that either.

I’m 62 and I still play with electric trains. If I make it to 82…. I hope I still am!
