When Hubby retired, he did two things. He took all but three of his neckties, hang them on the clothes line, sprayed them with lighter fluid, and burned them. Then he took his razor and ceremoniously dropped it in the trash. The last time he wore a tie was for my mum’s funeral. In 2011.
I appreciate parents who actually notice when their kid(s) is being annoying or rude to others. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen kids sit and stare at other diners in just this way and the parents either didn’t care or didn’t notice at all.
OK, this is where, oh, I dunno, wolves and most other animals have it all over humans when it comes to parenting: they actually TEACH their children how to behave among their own.
