I know this cartoonist has been around a long time and is totally liberal. That being said, after somewhat reading his stuff for 30 years and seeing the same attitude over and over, I’ve decided he is just a mean S.O.B. If he played fair and poked fun at ALL politicians and/or scum-buckets, he would be funnier but I guess he is incapable of seeing both sides.Gonna let this one go. It’s just sad.

Well, you obviously didn’t read his strips on Bill Clinton. He’s an equal opportunity flamer, it’s just that, right now, it’s a Republican he’s chosen to throw shade on. I can also refer to good ol’ LBJ and the grenades he lobbed at Jimmy Carter. I guess you’re wearing Republican no-see-um glasses right now. Oh, I can assure you that I didn’t like LBJ either, but, unlike you, I really can’t stand Trump. His strips just document that ‘The Donald’ has been a s*****g for over a generation. Sorry.

You DO realize that these are RERUN comics from decades ago? The current batch is from when he and Liz Smith decided to make him a sensationalistic news story during first his affairs and then the break-up with Ivana. It took those society gossip/society party stories off the social columns pages and put them on the front pages of leisure sections and in some cases the actual front pages. If you want an interesting read DO read some of the articles on the topic. They go into how an image is created.
