If she chose washing dishes over faking doing homework (that’s where she takes her books into her room, get all comfy, turns on her digital device, and mumphs her way through the hour), she obviously thinks along different lines than a majority of her classmates.
What’s so bad about multi-tasking? When in school sometimes I needed to watch TV or listen to the radio to get me through the homework. Listening to Pandora, typing and reading now…all at the same time! Whole premise needs some work, in my humble opinion.
Rather than let the kids trip her up, she should make the kids explain themselves, then explain the explanation.
