From what I hear and see, not only on FB but even from news anchor folk, grammar is dead. If I hear one more newscaster say “more happy” (as an example), than “HAPPIER”, this Grammar Nazi will croak. The comparative form has died and gone to Grammar Hell.

All anybody has to do, besides what DLKRUEGER33 said, is read what journalists write and how sloppy the editing is by the editors. UGH!
