Timmy has a cute-sounding name, so if you’re a true “Pearls” fan, you know that Timmy is doomed, because characters named “Timmy” in “Pearls Before Swine” are almost always doomed. You have to wonder if eventually he’s gonna ally with those stupid idiot crocs to try and take Zebra’s money by having the crocs kill Zebra and it’s gonna backfire because the crocs will likely eat him… duh.
So, is Pig visiting Zebra’s house, and brought his regular pillow for television watching, or is Zebra visiting Pig and Rat’s house? Rat HATES company, so I’m thinking Pig is at Zebra’s.
I guess the neighborhood is “turning.” Those tough kids, the gang-bangers, like Timmy Tortoise, are moving in and claiming turf. If I were Zeeba Neighba, I thing I’d actually call on the crocs for help! Maybe Larry could take out Timmy….

Some herbivores are plenty dangerous. Hippos and African Buffalo are more dangerous than Lions and Crocodiles.

Should have known that Timmy ‘the Tortoise’ Gambino would be trouble.

Timmy must be wanted a few counties or states back… thus being why he moved to Zebra’s neighborhood.

I like Timmy. I hope we see more of him, if only to see him get his comeuppance.

Tortoises aren’t so bad. The ones you have to watch out for are mourning doves. Those guys are vicious!

This is what happens when you ask a turtle to come out of his shell.

Where was he “concealing” that weapon? Too big for that shell!

Now we know the real story of how the tortoise beat the hare.

Glad to see that Steph has brought Zebra back several times this year. The last couple of years it seemed like he was being phased out of the strip.

Timmy’s shell must be like the TARDIS if he could hide that long rifle inside of it.

I went “Auuugh! A herbivore, not aN herbivore!” Then I remembered that Americans call herbs “erbs”.
