To listen would be to imply that the blather coming out of other people’s mouths was anywhere near as interesting as the brilliant thoughts that I’m thinking. I suspect it isn’t, but I wouldn’t know, as I’ve never tried.

Some might say that the World is divided into two types: Listeners and Blatherers…. As for me, I am a Wonderer: now wondering, why origami?

Naked Russian Man made me literally laugh out loud. That doesn’t happen too often.

Regarding the cooking of dice, you’d better not try that with old ones made of celluloid!

What happens when you cook celluloid dice? Is it anything like putting peeps in a microwave?

Celluloid dice? Hah! The dang recipe didn’t mention what kind. The fuzzy ones just catch on fire. My pending lawsuit from yesterday is still open for discussion with Teresa, although I will be unavailable for comment until the forest fire in my neighborhood is extinguished.

I think Uncle Touchy was remembering that picture of Gina, Sophia and Yvonne.

The Naked Russian Man was soooo fascinating. It had everything…including hot Russian chicks, dog with more clothes on than naked man (couldn’t have less) making two appearances, concerned/unconcerned roommate/guy who carries around bathrobes, bullies, bystanders. Everything but police.

To bad about Francoise Dorleac. I enjoyed her brief film career before her tragic death.

Just visited Frog Blog for the first time in a couple of weeks. The Violinist post reminded me of the anecdote about Sir Thomas Beecham.

It is said that in one rehearsal he was unsatisfied with the performance of a female cello soloist, and so said to her “Madam, you have between your legs an instrument capable of giving pleasure to thousands, and all you can do is scratch it!”.

(This is an unsourced quote, but if he didn’t say it, he bloody well should have.)

If you wonder what Ed’s “swellest Sunday morning treat in the world” was, it was “Piping hot bran muffins, made with 40% Bran Flakes! Man, were they good!”

(Probably NOT what you were thinking, was it? Shame on you!)

Original Post Bran Flakes ad here.

“Life is swell when you keep well.”

Everytime I see a picture of Sophia Loren in a restaurant I think of these: http://scattergood-blog.blogspot.com/2009/08/jayne-mansfield-and-sophia-loren.html And the question is what was Clifton Webb doing when these pictures were taken in 1957? Come on Cliff, this is the only fall out that can’t hurt you! Gape, Stare, Ogle. drool!

Talk about allusions of grandeur. Josh1360 is a joke. Nothing personal, Off the Wall, but Josh is little more than a fly on the GoComics wall. SWAT! http://obituarytypo.blogspot.com/2010/07/yes-we-feel-love_08.html

@3HT: My best estimate would be…. No, oh yes, very hard, yes, a case, sometimes two, most definitely, no, no only if they want to be, depends, fear and reality tv, Pi divided by the volume of your A$$ times the length of your attention span. Go ahead, have another cup, it’s time for FaX

“wears” ? 3hour, I am astonished, amazed and awed that you would try to imply that our beloved St Teresa would trade clothing to create FA. I am sure she uses every the trick of the cartoonists’ trade to guile us into slap happy sycophants. We know her where abouts and her wares are better than those wears. Where were we? I think you should try some of that jug tea available on the blog, as for me I’ll just download that picture of Catherine D. to my collection. Ecstasy is closer that I will ever know. Thank you, St Teresa.

Thanks Whaletail. I was a little off last night. I appreciate that. I did take it wrong. I was having a bad day. I had just accidentally messed up a project I had been working on all day and had to redo it. I took your comment out of context.
