This reminds me so much of my late Bagheera, who would whine like he was a poor, starving kitty who never got fed, oh woe is him!

…And THAT’S the clue that the cat’s already been fed. If it was a simple need of breakfast, they’d have only been starving for MONTHS.

The Woman is not being allowed to sleep through hungry cats and she is being "Ma’am"ed. Just like we thought yesterday.

(In whispering golf announcer voice): Jim, this might work! Elvis (and the others) have at least adequate acting skills and the Woman has not had coffee yet. While she is wise to the ways of cats, it’s the lack of coffee that just might tip the balance. And, even though they will probably be found out when the Man get home, the food will already be in the tummies and it will be too late to do anything about it. It’s a brilliant plan and it just might work!

Someone predicted this yesterday when they said the ‘feed me’ ploy wouldn’t work unless the Woman was woken up. And here we are. And I’ve never wanted to help Elvis so much with that look in his eyes! He really is evil.

BWAHAHAHA! Again! Two laugh-out-louds in a row! In addition to the starving eyes, my cats have threatened to call the ASPCA on me, or so I imagine.

I’m starting to wonder if Elvis may have been related to Puss In Boots (from Shrek). That looks a lot like the face Puss uses in the most dire of situations. As long as the Man hasn’t left a note for the Woman, this might just work…

Our two always go for this ploy. It never works, but they remain ever-hopeful. Especially the Pampered Persian Princess, she with the big sad eyes.

Of course, ALL kitties are starved and on their last legs, and never petted and ignored, and did I say starved?

My cats are this way with treats. Cats: We haven’t recieved treats for days and days. Me: I watched you get treats just two minutes ago.

OK, Georgia, fess up. Where did you put the hidden cameras in my kitchen?

I Catfeteria ( cafeteria ) Feed for this reason. Kibble is always out in a variety of bowls and heights, Treats come in special plates, and when I get them out I am mobbed.

That face is exactly why I only free feed dry kibble to my babies. That an allergies too. You should see them come running when I refill the bowls though. Even though they aren’t empty, you would think everyone is starving. As soon as they hear kibble hit stainless steel the race is on. Sometimes I end up being an obstacle in the race so I just stand still until all 4 land around me. Nothing says I love you like being used as a ladder.
