The second panel describes my position after trying any of them. And I live in a snow state, no less.In 1998 my wife and I visited one of her friends in Park City, UT, and we went up to the Olympic training facility. One fascinating thing was the skiers practiced jumping into a pool of water, with the water heavily aerated to soften the impact. But they also offered luge rides. You started halfway up the run in a shell with wheels, and you hit 40 mph at the bottom. Picture being a pebble in a tin can. So we always watch luge runs and say “Ehh, been there, done that…” It was expensive then; I understand now the price is astronomical.
