There’s nothing like warm clothes on a cold day. Also it beats folding them
At least Jane didnt climb inside the dryer like our cat did.
Flash Gordon… and anybody else wondering about that…
this is just my opinion…. but since you asked…..
Didn’t you ever start taking the warm clothes out of the dryer, on a cold day….. and kinda wish you could jump in, or wrap yourself up in them?
But you don’t…. cos you know it would be a funny thing to do.
Well, there you have it.
They do it in comic strips because it’s a funny thing to do!
Folding the laundry and putting it away would be sensible…. but not funny.
There are strips where nothing much funny happens…
Dick Tracy, Alley Oop, Garfield….. oops, sorry…..
But I, for one, come here to see people be dopey, and to see pigs talk, cats run businesses…
and other stuff l’ve never (or seldom) seen in my so-called “real life.”
I guess I prefer GoComics to GoSensibles.
Hi SUSANSUNSHINE
I myself have gone to the dryer just as it finishes, pulled out all the towels and enjoyed the warm softness against me. Then I folded them. I’ve never tried just dumping them on myself but I wonder if Jane will sit there, watch TV and fold them???
She could do yoga while watching TV. By the time she got done, the clothes would all be folded.
The problem is static electricity…You think, “Where’s my other sock?”, and you find it’s stuck to your dog…or your behind…or your dog’s behind…
Someone’s underwear is seriously riding up.
Is it just me or does Jane looked seriously baked in that last panel???
