What’s really wrong is obsessing over people who aren’t even that famous such as Nate obsessing over Rusty Sienna and especially his freaky obsession with Wink the Meteorologist.
Random comic:http://www.gocomics.com/bignate/1995/01/20 I’ll rate this strip 9/10 and People Go “Nuts” over celebrities as they were famous for a reason like the “king of games” Or Youtubers who Do what they do.
Well as I bring this once promising “long-running” comic strip to an end with me, I have to say I had a good run of it. This strip was the replacement in my lineup for Cleats, a comic strip I love kids who enjoy doing physical activities which ended its run on October 31, 2010 (ironically on Halloween) since then, I’ve been looking for a successor and found one call Big Nate. Although the kids in this one do play sports at times (mostly soccer), it was enjoyable. But in the last few years there’s nothing but unexpected repeats from the comic strip’s early years. So therefore is with a heavy heart that I bring closure to what was a very nice family friendly comic strip. I would like to give you my email address so you can remind me if Mr. Lincoln has resolved his so-called “issues” that he has and has his strip up and running again with new story lines and escapades about his creation Nate. But unfortunately I can’t give you my email address because I know I’ll get backlash from posters (or pustules) like you. Therefore I say so long to Big Nate for now.
Nate has a good point here. Just because someone’s famous doesn’t mean they’re an ideal idol. I won’t name certain celebreties so I don’t start drama, but I have examples in mind.
Nate is right on his first point. Idolising famous people and following their every action on social media is an utter waste of time. It is fine to scrutinise their actions every once in a while, but tracking their actions every hour is completely unnecessary. It is more imperative to think about your own actions instead of other people’s. After all, this is your life. Living vicariously through someone else’s won’t improve your own life. However, Nate’s hypocrisy weakens his argument.

In case you aren’t sure this is a rerun, I think a reference to a song from 2006 pretty much confirms it.

Really Nate? You attempt to make a compelling argument and you try to make a lame excuse after it backfires on you. Sure THAT helps.

Its dumb how people complain about reruns and when there aren’t any rerun people complain about the new strips.
