I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jimmy play the troll before. Well, it worked. He hooked quite a few. I will bet that he’s laughing like mad right now over the success of his early April Fool joke.
Three holidays are uncelebrated, the King Holiday, Presidents Day, and Columbus Day. Need to rename Memorial Day “Civil Rights Day”; move Thanksgiving to mid-October; set Presidents Day on April 15, just to remind us who to blame.
Ratbrat made an astute comment on the human condition and it (too predictably) deteriorated into partisan political gossip. That is truly a sign of the times; when I was young it was considered as poor taste as arguing about religion or sex. Come to think of it, those appear to be fair game now. We seem to live in a dive off some potholed road where all the lodging can be rented by the hour. Maybe I am just oversensitive, having been raised by a schizophrenic and an alcoholic. It’s too much like Old Home for my tastes.
No, let’s replace Presidential Election day with November Fool’s day! That way, we won’t be so disappointing when our “fool” looses and the other “fool” wins. We will all know in advance that it’s all just one big joke.
let’s have a snowflake day where all the whiny crybabies can vent about how they don’t like their current political representatives and get it all out of their system in one big crybaby day? Let’s make it the day after election day!
I just wish people would stop think it was about all presidents, much less the current one. It was supposed to combine the b-days of Lincoln and Washington, maybe fuss at their moms for not having spring babies?

Not ALL presidents were fools…

All presidents were human beings and so were fools some of the time.

This year, April Fool’s Day coincides with Easter, a situation that will warm the hearts of atheists everywhere.
