Before they were old enough to go to school, that is when I got most of my housework done – when the kids were asleep. When they started school, I managed to get most of it done while they were there. Of course, there was still dinner to prepare and then dishes to wash, but that was the easy part of the day.

I guess people still iron, because irons are still sold in stores. With the wrinkle-free fabrics, I don’t think we’ve ironed in 25 years.
